(18 months—3 years)
Toddlers’ moods, interests and activity levels change frequently. The staff at UECC remains sensitive to these issues, and has developed a schedule that allows for flexibility and easy adaptability.
The following learning objectives that are emphasized:
- Developing skills
- using utensils
- dressing
- clean-up
- verbal expression
- toilet training
- Developing social and combination skills.
- Exploring the environment through new activities and materials.
- Broadening play scheme.
- Using art materials, toys, instruments and tools.
- Developing child’s interest in books
All children must be dressed appropriately, particularly during the winter months.
No child will be allowed in play area without proper soft soled shoes.
All personal items (gloves, hats, etc.) must be clearly labeled with the child’s name. We cannot accept responsibility for lost personal items.
NO JEWELRY IS ALLOWED FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY PURPOSES.
No personal toys are allowed at UECC! No exceptions!
