Classroom staff will send home notes updating parents on their child’s activities. Each parent will be asked to purchase a small notebook that will be sent back and forth between home and UECC. UECC staff and parents will use this notebook as another means to communicate ideas/concerns. UECC will conduct meetings on a variety of topics that may be of concern to parents (i.e., nutrition, discipline, single parenting). There will also be time set aside each year for formal parent-teacher conferences, at which parents can get input about their child’s specific progress.
