Medication will not be administered to any child.

Each child must have an annual physical examination and current immunizations on file. UECC will hold a health check every morning. UECC reserves the right to deny a child admission to the Center on any given day if he/she shows signs of a contagious illness. If a child becomes ill during the course of the day, the parent/guardian will be notified and may be required to pick up the child. These requests will be made based on the guidelines issued by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the New York State Health Commission, the Nassau County Health Department and the UECC Administration. When your child is ill, he/she must be seen by their primary care physician and cleared to return to child care with a doctor’s note before we will accept he/she back into our care.
All meals and snacks served at UECC are provided by a food caterer through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). No meals are prepared here at the Center. If you plan to give your Child food or snack, Please provide healthy food which nourishes the brain and growth of your Child.
